Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne and trained at one of the UK’s leading drama colleges, The Italia Conti academy of theatre arts London. Rochine is a fun loving Geordie with a warm, passionate and charismatic personality. She has a dynamic vocal technique and is able to adapt easily to various music styles such as Pop, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Soul, Gospel and Country. She also performs with equal confidence and enjoyment in dancing and acting too. Rochine’s varied career has taken her across the UK and Europe seeing her perform as a solo artist and as a lead vocalist in the female vocal trio Jewel. Rochine has worked with some of the biggest brands in the UK and Globally. They include; TED UK, Empire Leisure, Haven Holidays, Park Dean, Pontins, Park resorts, Grosvenor Casinos and globally as a guest entertainer aboard P&O cruise ships. Rochine’s other credits include television and stage productions such as; Children in Need (BBC), as a principle vocalist, Goal (Buena vista & Touchstone productions), Hansel and Gretel (Arena North), as the Wicked Witch and in Cinderella, (Smile Italian tour) as the Stepmother. With a 2/1 university degree in Musical theatre and Directing, Rochine is also an established freelance practitioner of performing arts throughout the UK and teaches in connection with several of the UK’s leading children’s drama companies, as well as launching her own business ILLUMINATE Performing Arts and Parties.
