Back in Bangkok and feeling festive!

We have one more night in Bangkok before flying on to Hong Kong and then back to the UK. When you're travelling i a hot climate in December you seem to lose all reality of what is happening at home and even what time of the year it is because the seasons are so different. We arrived in the lobby of our hotel, to see the biggest Christmas tree and it suddenly dawned on us that we're heading home to Christmas in the UK. I had such a rush of excitement and despite being sad that our amazing adventure is over, we get to go home and spend two amazing weeks with all of our family and friends! we're not looking forward to the cold but I cant wait to decorate my tree, wrap up some prezzies and have a festive fizz in my own home! Now Thailand don't celebrate Christmas but their efforts for a seasons greeting made us laugh! "Merry Santa Claus Day".
