Business as usual...

This week i've been home sweet home in the north giving my dad a helping hand in running his continental catering company. This was my first ever job nearly fifteen years ago as a teenager and it is undoubtedly the place that taught me what is means to have a good work ethic! With a menu of over 100 items and daily queues out the door of hungry workers with limited lunch break time, this place can seriously put you under pressure but going home and greeting all the familiar faces that have stayed loyal and returned time and time again makes the job feel like a breeze. Now nearly fifteen years on, the keys are regularly left in my hands and I get to prepare all of this fresh wonderful food from scratch. Of course it has taken me years of practice to master but I've had the best teacher in my wonderfully talented father.
