Musical madness!

And...chill! This week I was booked to spent three full days in a junior school teaching 18 different classes a musical theatre themed workshop, to perform to parents as part of their performing arts week.

7 musicals, 18 classes and 720 kids later...I AM FRAZZELED!

Thankfully the children were a joy to teach, they were fully engaged in listening and followed direction beautifully. It was a breath of fresh air to see children with a genuine passion for the arts and a nice reassurance that it's not a dying art despite the budget cuts to arts in the curriculum.

I recieved a lovely email from the teacher who made the booking after the children's performance which made all of the hard work worth it!

"Dear Rochine

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for all of your hard work spent with the children during our arts week project. The school was buzzing and all of the children were talking about what a fabulous time they had working with you. All of the performances in assembly were a great success and the parents were in ore of how much you had managed to do with the children in such a short space of time! Thank you for also sending the songs. We do hope you can join us again for next years performing arts week but once again thank you from us all here at St Mary's"

Kind regards

Sarah Rogers
